Ravi Shanker has been a qualified physiotherapist for 18 years, accruing extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in NHS, Army Primary Health Care (MOD) and private sectors. Ravi has also worked as a pitch side physiotherapist for elite sports clubs in London.
Ravi is committed to continuing his professional development to provide most up to date and evidence-based treatment techniques. He has successfully completed his master’s degree in physiotherapy in 2007 from Sheffield Hallam University and completed his Diploma in orthopaedic medicine from Middlesex University in 2009. He engages himself in regular in-service training, external courses, webinars and online courses.
Currently, He is also providing First Contact Practitioner service to primary care networks in Hertfordshire. He has special interest in treating complex musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.
He has special interest in treating sporting shoulder injuries and works closely with top shoulder orthopaedic consultants in London.
In his spare time he engages himself in long distance running, adventure sports including canyoning, abseiling and rafting and loves watching and playing cricket and football.
